When you first start your business the most important thing you need is to move product, and that means you need customers to buy product. When you have customers your product will be sold, and you will then make a commission. This is true for any kind of a business, small or large. When you start a home business, you are told to get distributors. Distributors are the sales people. They need to sponsor more distributors and that means to bring more sales people in to the business. And so it goes on and on down the line.

But how do you get Distributors? The most common way is to buy leads. There are many different lead companies that sell leads. They do not say how they get those leads. Some companies must be ethical and get them in an honest fashion. However the ones I found did not get them in an ethical manner. So no matter how hard I worked calling leads, I was realizing very little if any success bringing people into my business through the means of leads. Leads are probably the biggest expense a distributor has. So my advice is Don't Buy Leads!

If you don't buy leads, what are you suppose to do to make your business grow? One could go back to the 3 foot method or the flyers on windshields in parking lots, but this is a very difficult and tiresome way to go. The answer is to get customers instead of distributors. I have found a Cooperative Online Marketing Business that sells customers. These customers have watched a infomercial or heard an advertisement on the radio and liked what they heard, so they called and ordered product. After that first order they became a lead that is now for sale. You order customers with this company and now they are your customer for life. You make a commission on the next sale and all sales after that. Doesn't that make leads seem like a very poor way to work very hard with so little success and money going down the drain.

I do not recommend using leads. Leads are a huge expense to a network marketer. You may often be told how good leads are to use, but really using leads does more damage than good. It is not just the cost that is hard on the pocket book, but working leads becomes very discouraging because there is so little to gain. Peoples names are captured by deceit. They usually think they are signing up for something free and that entices them to fill out their information. They do not get told that their information is going to be sold as a lead to someone who is trying to sell them a business endeavor. So when talking with a lead, they may be extremely rude, crush your enthusiasm and ruin your self esteem. The percentage of these leads that you find to talk with will be few and ones that you can successfully market to are even fewer.

There is another way to have a business grow financially, and that is to get customers. They buy product and you make a commission. They tell others and some decide to become distributors. I have found a business where you can buy customers and build a fine soho marketing business. I believe a number of the original ones are still in business. MLM became known to me in the 60s or 70s. The first one that I heard about was Amway. At the beginning they had only one product to start their business. They came a long ways and almost everyone has either heard of them and many have become a distributor with them. Some people became involved more than once over the years of change. There were a few other businesses that may also have been MLM businesses at the same time.

From those first businesses came many others until now there are a huge amount of different businesses. Getting more and more businesses that are wanting to make money online. Many of them are good, and of course there are many others that spring up, and go for a short time and then fold leaving only those at the top, as the only ones that made any money. This has given all of them a bad reputation, even the good ones. There are some that have used dishonest tactics and have hurt a lot of people.

So how does one know what businesses are good and what ones are not good? To make money online you have to do your homework and check each one out carefully. Check them out on Google first. As you study different businesses you will see some things that they all have in common. A good business will give you time to check them out. The owners of a good business will be there to help you. By helping you they will become successful. Here are some ways to check a business out that you may find helpful.

The company needs to be established and I think should have at least 5 years in business and 10 years is even better. Their product should be a valid product that everyone needs, not just a few. Are they offering a get rich deal and only a short time to get involved to be in on the pre-launch or ground floor? These are some of the most important things to watch out for and stay away from. No matter how tempting they sound, run the other way. If not you will lose. These signs are not always easy to detect and these people pray on those who are unsuspecting and want to make money online with a home business.

Do they use leads to grow their business? Do they tell you how good leads work? If they do, I would let this alone determine how good the business is. Leads are very difficult to work and they are also very expensive. They are not an effective way to build a business. Very few people can work leads successfully.

I have a home business that I use to make money online. This company is 10 years old this year and it is very professional and honest. They have a wonderful website that has everything there for you to be able to check out. With this business you can buy customers instead of leads. Customers buy product and I get paid a commission on the sale. This is an excellent way to build a business slowly and solidly. When we are anxious or worried about any one of these things it can cause stress which triggers changes in our bodies and our diets, which can cause illness. It can also make any ailment that we may have worsen. Here are some of the ways that stress can effect us physically.

To combat these problems we need to listen to our bodies and what is happening when something triggers stress.
Here are some ways to help yourself when stress occurs.

TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF. Take a relaxing bath, a walk, listen to some relaxing music or do one of your favorite things to do. For me is to work in my yard.

SLEEP. Be sure to get enough sleep. It helps to keep your room cool and dark. Use enough covers to insure you will be warm.

RELAX. Take twelve deep breathes. Prayer is very helpful, and also exercise with stretching or yoga. Listening to relaxing and favorite music.

EAT WHOLESOME FOOD. Don't snack. Eat a well rounded wholesome stress nutrition meal. It is best to stay away from coffee or sweets.

USE SUPPLEMENTS FOR STRESS. Adaptogen is very good for stress. I also think B 12 is very good.

TALK WITH A FRIEND. Choose a friend that will listen and not give advice. You usually don't need to be told what they would do, but just use them as a sounding board.
